Timber Development

Natasha started as an entry-level compassman with Silvicon in 2016 to get her bearings. In 2023, Natasha became Operations for Wetzin'kwa Community Forest where she assists the General Manager with planning, consultation, timber development, harvest supervision, and road maintenance. Her winters are often cross country ski or snowshoe access to Wetzin'kwa's planned blocks, and her summers are mostly in Terrace completing multiphase development in cable and ground-based systems. She has field experience throughout the northwest completing road designs, and salvage, selective and multiphase layout.

 Natasha hopes to continually gain exposure to partial retention and recruitment strategies by shifting her focus to 'what's being left behind' for better management practices
