Hannah started at Silvicon in May 2021 in Timber Development. She gained experience in multiphase block development, performing duties such as, timber reconnaissance, riparian assessments, block boundary layout, road and skid trail layout, silviculture prescription data collection, compassing for timber cruisers and site plan report writing. Hannah has worked on a number of projects for BCTS in the Nass Timber Supply Area (TSA), the Lakes TSA and the Bulkley TSA, as well as in the Wetzin’kwa Community Forest and various woodlots. She was also involved in the Wildfire Risk Reduction project in the Wetzin’kwa Community Forest, and has experience in wildfire risk reduction, prescription plots, treatment unit layout, road and skid trail layout as well as pre and post-harvest fuel load transects.

Hannah became a Registered Professional Forester in February 2023! In May 2023 she started working in the Silviculture department and is now performing a variety of silviculture surveys including planting quality inspections, regeneration surveys, free-growing surveys, site preparation surveys, and post-wildfire assessments.

During her free time, Hannah enjoys trail running, hiking, skiing, and camping with family and friends.
